The world is made of stories,
not atoms.

I write about geography, landscape, and the quiet ways that place shapes who we are. I also work as an editor for writers who want to bring clarity and depth to their own stories of land and movement.

This is my corner of the internet — a place for essays, field notes, and the occasional meditation on why maps always leave something out.

About Me

I studied geography and environmental humanities, which is a fancy way of saying I spent several years reading about rivers, borders, and what it means to belong to a particular patch of earth. My writing has appeared in various places online and in print — always circling back to landscape as a lens.

When I’m not writing, I’m usually looking at old maps, hiking somewhere with an elevation gain, or arguing that topographic lines are a form of poetry.
